Vision Statement
The La Sierra High School Athletic Hall of Fame aspires to honor and preserve the legacy of excellence, character, and commitment that define Eagle athletics—serving as a lasting source of pride, inspiration, and tradition for our school and community.
 

Mission Statement
The mission of the La Sierra High School Athletic Hall of Fame is to recognize and celebrate outstanding athletes, coaches, teams, and contributors who have demonstrated excellence in performance, leadership, and character. Through honoring these individuals, we aim to inspire current and future generations of Eagles to pursue greatness with integrity, sportsmanship, and pride.

  • Article 1: 
    The Name of the Organization shall be the La Sierra Athletics Hall of Fame Committee.  Drawing from the rich athletic heritage of La Sierra High School, the La Sierra Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is organized exclusively to select and honor former La Sierra High School athletes, coaches, and contributors for induction into the La Sierra Athletic Hall of Fame.

    Article 2:
    Membership shall consist only of the members of the La Sierra Athletic Hall of Fame Committee. Committee members shall be selected by the athletic director and/or the Principal of La Sierra High School and will be primarily coaches, former coaches, and teachers of La Sierra.

    The Committee will have the right to suggest nominees for induction and will be asked to vote once a year to help determine inductees.  

    Article 3: Meetings  The La Sierra Athletic Committee shall meet on an “as needed” basis.  Meetings will be held at the La Sierra High School Library.  Notice of meetings will be given by mail, phone, e-mail, or personal contact.  A quorum must be attended by at least half of the Committee members before formal business can be transacted or motions passed.

    Article 4: Nomination Criteria for Athletes
    Any athlete nominated must be:
        4.1. A former La Sierra High School graduate/student.
        4.2. A Good Citizen
        4.3. Be eligible 5 years after graduation
        4.4 Have displayed exceptional success in one or more sports.
        4.5. Have displayed exemplary sportsmanship.

    Article 5: Nomination Criteria for Coaches
    Any coach nominated must:
        5.1 Be retired from coaching at La Sierra
        5.2 Be a good citizen
        5.3 Have displayed exceptional success and sportsmanship
        5.4 Be recognized by their peers, athletes, and the La Sierra High School Community for their promotion of the benefits of sport.

    Article 6: Nomination of Criteria for Contributors
    Any contributor nominated must:
        6.1. Have shown a tremendous interest in La Sierra Athletics
        6.2  Have contributed to the success of one or more sports programs at La Sierra
        6.3 Be a good citizen
        6.4 Gone above and beyond the call of duty to help coaches, athletes, and the overall community of La Sierra Athletics.

    Article 7: Induction Banquet
    An Induction Banquet will be held in the Fall of every year to honor the athletes, coaches, and contributors who are selected for induction into the La Sierra Athletic Hall of Fame.
